Episode 25 – “Heroineburgh”
Show Notes: “HEROINEBURGH” is a live-action episodic video series and a comic book series (and created in that order). The stories are about a universe of superpowered females in a fantastical version of Pittsburgh. It’s adventure, drama, comedy and romance, all in the finest spandex and capes, and the comic book art is classic Bronze Age- with some modern computer coloring. The videos are available for download from their website- Heroineburgh.com, and the comics are on sale in over 150 stores nationwide and at their many comic con and comic shop appearances. In this episode I talk with the mysterious Mr. H about the world of HEROINEBURGH, creating comics and shooting video in the Steel City. We also swap some info on traveling to conventions, plus he shares some stories about his connection to the Memphis music scene. So hop on the bus, Gus- and make a new plan to take a trip to Heroineburgh…by way of Memphis.
